Course Objectives

This course introduces the core concepts, tools, and practices of virtualization and containerization, focusing on how they differ, complement each other, and power modern development and deployment pipelines.

Students will explore how virtualization enables efficient hardware resource management through virtual machines, while containerization offers lightweight, portable environments for application deployment.

This course lays the foundation necessary for more advanced learning in cloud computing, DevOps, and system design, enabling students to choose the right tools for the right problems in real-world environments.
