Course Objectives

By the end of this course participants will acquire an insight and understanding of the EPC Planning & Design architecture, concepts and design. The participants will learn about how to describe EPC architecture planning and designing steps and determine IP address, QoS, APN needs for different services. They will also acquire knowledge on how to determine capacity for different interfaces, and determine the internetworking for different interfaces.

Bandwidth Calculation & IP Planning for EPC

  • Basic knowledge for bandwidth calculation
  • Interface bandwidth calculation – control plane

  • Perform IP planning for EPC 

Entry Requirements

EPC and Telecom network knowledge, ideally Packet Network planning.
