Course Objectives

By the end of this course participants will acquire knowledge on the UTRAN Network structure and the logical, transport and physical channels used in WCDMA. Several processes such as coding and interleaving are explained regarding signal generation. Power control, mobility, rake receiver, synchronization and RACH process are some of the procedures detailed regarding WCDMA air interface.
