Course Objectives

By the end of this course participants will acquire knowledge regarding what nodes makeup the EPS architecture, what protocols are used in each of the EPS interfaces and what processes are performed by each one of the protocols. The course explains how Quality of Service is implemented and what levels of security are applied in the radio network and the transport networks. Several procedures and traffic cases are listed and discussed thoroughly.

Entry Requirements

Knowledge on basic telecommunication concepts and completion of the Long Term Evolution Overview course.

Personnel involved in radio network planning and optimization, service engineers, network design engineers.

Mode of Delivery

Instructor-led training, theory and case studies. 

Duration

The duration can be adjusted in order to cover the individual target groups’ needs and perspectives and can range from 2-3 days.
